Chuck Knows Church is two online video series that help interpret complex subjects and issues in a fun, yet informative, way. Each series features “Chuck” who helps us learn more about our church while inviting us to have deeper conversation with our pastor or priest. The ORIGINAL SERIES is all about the objects, symbols and terms we often hear in church. Take a couple of minutes each week and have some fun while you learn from Chuck. There are more than 100 episodes available on a variety of topics, with more being produced on a regular basis. Each episode is between 2 to 5 minutes long.
THE COMMITTEE is a humorous and poignant 15-part online series that examines the struggles congregations face as they look toward a preferred future. Using real-world topics, The Committee is sure to open discussion in your church. Designed for both individual viewing and group study, each episode comes with a free downloadable study guide. Nomads On a Mission Active in Divine Service – NOMADS provide volunteer labor for United Methodist organizations. NOMADS demonstrate God’s love through our work and by listening to the people with whom we work. We do new construction, remodeling, and repairs for churches, children’s homes, camps, colleges, outreach missions and disaster rebuilding. Team members do maintenance, cleaning, painting, electrical, drywall, sewing, flooring. With God’s help, NOMADS pretty much do it all.

The Greater Northwest Episcopal Area, with episcopal residence in Normandy Park, Washington, provides leadership for the Alaska United Methodist Conference, Pacific Northwest Annual Conference, and the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference. The Greater Northwest is the largest geographic episcopal area in the United States serving United Methodists in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and small parts of Montana and Canada as well. Elaine J. W. Stanovsky serves the Greater Northwest Area as its Resident Bishop. Stanovsky, who previously was assigned to the Mountain Sky Area, was first elected to the episcopacy in 2008.
